Call for Abstracts for the International Biological Threat Reduction Symposium (formerly Regional One Health Research Symposium) is open!

IBTRS provides junior professionals with an opportunity to learn how to prepare research for presentation in an international fora. Attendees will benefit from real-time feedback from a panel of international experts on presentations and posters, and an international exchange of current research, methodology, and practical issues in bacteriological and viral threat research, policy, and biosecurity. IBTRS will emphasize scientific research and networking. The list of topics to be presented includes:
- Biosafety and Biosecurity
- Zoonosis/Zoonotic Diseases
- Infectious Diseases of Humans and Animals
- Public Health
- Emerging Infectious Diseases
- COVID-19 Diagnostics, Surveillance, and Public Health
- Veterinary Medicine and Disease
- One Health (policy development, bio surveillance)
Please submit all abstracts to https://swmprogramua.com/symposium/ or email@example.com by February 15, 2021, for review and consideration by the BTRP/CH2M Team. Abstract approval is required for all oral presentation and poster submissions.
BTRP/CH2M will notify the submitters of abstracts selected for support. It is the responsibility of the abstract submitters to submit their abstract to the organizers in accordance with the instructions. Interpretation will be provided in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
Eligible participants: early- and mid-career scientists, Ph.D. researchers, and academic research staff across human and animal sectors.
Registration fee: Participation in the 2021 International Biological Threat Reduction Symposium (IBTRS) and abstract publication in the Symposium Abstract Directory is free of charge for all participants.
