The International BioThreat Reduction Symposium is sponsored by the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP). The Symposium team now invites infectious disease researchers to submit abstracts for the 2022 IBTRS Symposium. In alignment with DTRA’s objective to support next-generation researchers, early- to mid-career researchers are especially encouraged to present. Presenters will gain experience in scientific communication, receive expert feedback on their research, and have opportunities to network with infectious disease researchers throughout Ukraine and beyond.
The 2022 IBTRS Symposium will feature lightning talks from early career researchers, expert panel discussions, research presentations, poster sessions, and networking opportunities through virtual roundtables and person-person interface applications. IBTRS is focused on infectious disease research with emphasis on:
- Especially Dangerous Pathogens
- Microbes in Veterinary Medicine and Food Safety
